Peloton unveils foldable Tread Flex treadmill as its most affordable model
Peloton introduced the Tread Flex, a vertically foldable treadmill that costs less than its previous models and targets entry-level users.
Peloton's fall 2026 refresh adds three treadmill tiers, with the Tread Flex serving as the budget-friendly option. Unlike prior models, the Flex folds vertically and rests on wheels, allowing storage in about half the space of conventional home treadmills. It carries a smaller screen—likely similar to the 21.5-inch display of older units—and retains Sonos audio integration, though it omits the camera found on higher-end versions.
The machine promises a maximum sound output of 70 dB at 12.5 mph without a user, and it supports Peloton IQ features such as personalized pace targets and heart-rate zone training. Additional updates include the ability to link Whoop accounts directly to the Peloton app.
