Pennsylvania son arrested after alleged fatal beating of his mother captured on video

In Swickley Township, Pennsylvania, investigators claim that 29-year-old Jakob Korber beat his mother, Christin Hamilton, to death early Sunday as she was beginning her day. A camera positioned at the residence allegedly recorded an hour-long assault, after which the victim was found naked and injured outside the home. Police say Korber later rested in a field before appearing on a road near the house around 5 p.m., where Pennsylvania State Police troopers intercepted him.
The arrest was filmed by KDKA, showing Korber walking in a hi-vis vest and surrendering with his hands behind his back. He has been charged with criminal homicide by the Westmoreland County district attorney’s office. Trooper Steven Limani described the case as a horrific and disturbing event.
