Pentagon launches online portal to streamline Golden Dome defense proposals
The Department of War unveiled a new website, hub.goldendome.mil, allowing defense firms to submit concepts directly to Golden Dome officials, aiming to cut bureaucratic delays.
On Tuesday, the Department of War introduced a digital hub at hub.goldendome.mil for defense industry participants to submit proposals and request information for the Golden Dome initiative. Unveiled by Golden Dome director Gen. Michael Guetlein during a missile-defense summit in Huntsville, the platform is intended to bypass months of paperwork and provide transparent demand signals to contractors. It lists focus areas that include advanced sensors, weapons, space systems, command-and-control, AI, unmanned autonomy, cybersecurity and more.
The Pentagon says the site will give real-time, unclassified visibility into immediate capability gaps. The announcement follows ongoing funding debates, with Congress allocating $24 billion for fiscal 2026 and the Pentagon seeking $17.5 billion for fiscal 2027, warning that a continuing resolution could jeopardize the program’s financing.
