Pentagon releases new UFO files, shedding light on 1952 Utah sighting and recent Middle East orbs
The Pentagon disclosed a sixth batch of declassified UFO documents, including footage of a 1952 Navy photographer’s “flying saucer” sighting in Utah and a 2025 cluster of glowing orbs over the Middle East.
On Friday, the Pentagon made public its sixth collection of previously secret UFO records, highlighting a historic 1952 incident where Navy photographer Newhouse filmed a group of bright, disc-shaped objects over Tremonton, Utah, moving in a loose westward circle. Project Blue Book examined the film for months without reaching a definitive explanation. More recent material shows U.S. military jets spotting a coordinated swarm of glowing orbs over the Middle East, passing an oil platform at high speed before dividing into smaller clusters.
The release includes expense reports from the Defense Intelligence Agency detailing tens of millions spent on the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program (AAWSAP) between 2008 and 2012. Under this program, billionaire Robert Bigelow’s company, Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies, was tasked with researching futuristic technologies such as metallic glass, warp-drive propulsion and cloaking devices. The files also contain numerous witness statements and additional UFO videos.
