Philippine Airlines suspends Manila-Riyadh service after Saudi airport attacks
Philippine Airlines cancelled its Manila-Riyadh flight on Oct. 8 and the return flight on Oct. 10 because of recent Houthi strikes on Saudi airports.
The carrier announced the termination of flight PR654 to Riyadh scheduled for Oct. 8 and flight PR655 back to Manila on Oct. 10. The decision follows attacks on Saudi Arabian airports by Yemen’s Houthi forces, prompting the airline to cite the evolving security situation. PAL said it will continue to monitor conditions before deciding on future services between the two capitals.
Why it matters
