Philippine Airlines to launch Delhi and Mumbai routes by December 2026

Philippine Airlines announced that it intends to start three weekly flights to Delhi and four weekly flights to Mumbai from Manila in December 2026, pending approval from Indian authorities. The airline will deploy its Airbus A320neo aircraft, which accommodate 168 seats across business and economy classes. President Richard Nuttall said the new services will enhance the carrier’s network in one of Asia’s most dynamic economies and create more opportunities for travelers and businesses.

The expansion coincides with IndiGo’s request for permission to launch daily Manila-Mumbai flights and later a Mumbai-New Delhi-Cebu link. At present, Air India is the sole airline offering a direct Manila-New Delhi connection. The routes aim to boost passenger traffic and trade between the two countries.
