Philippine airlines to raise fuel surcharges for October flights
The Civil Aeronautics Board announced a higher fuel surcharge level for flights from October 1 to 15, prompting airlines to increase ticket prices.
The CAB issued an advisory stating that a Level 17 fuel surcharge will apply for the first half of October, up from the Level 14 used in late September. This change allows carriers to add larger fees to both domestic and international tickets. Travelers are advised to expect steeper airfare costs during this period.
