Philippine ecozone approvals surge past 2025 total within nine months
The Philippine Economic Zone Authority reported that approved investments reached P297.14 billion, exceeding the full-year 2025 figure in just nine months.
A spike in September approvals lifted Peza’s investment pipeline to P297.14 billion, already outpacing the entire 2025 tally. The approvals cover 222 projects and bring the 2026 total within a few billion of the P300 billion target. The agency’s historic record of P311 billion set in 2012 remains the benchmark.
