Philippines announces passing rates and top scorers for electrical engineering licensure exams

The Professional Regulation Commission published the outcomes of this month’s licensure examinations for registered electrical engineers, registered electrical engineers, and master electricians across 17 testing centers in the Philippines. Of the 3,399 candidates for the registered electrical engineer exam, 1,676 achieved passing status, with Dan Joel Monte De Leon of Palompon Institute of Technology-Palompon and Charles Anthony Saceda Santillan of Cebu Institute of Technology-University sharing the top score of 94.25%.

The University of the Philippines-Los Baños topped institutional performance, with every one of its 51 examinees passing. In the master electrician exam, 715 of 961 participants passed, and Ramon Joshua Silva Carpio recorded the highest grade of 90.00%; the Philippine College of Science and Technology-Calasiao led schools with a 90.91% pass rate among its 22 candidates. Additionally, 20 candidates cleared the oral/technical evaluation for professional electrical engineers in Cagayan de Oro, with a full list of successful examinees released.
