Pilot Trapped and Injured After Small Aircraft Rolls Over at Montgomery County Airport
A small plane flipped upside down at Heritage Field Airport near Pottstown on Wednesday evening, injuring the pilot who was rescued by responders.
Around 7:20 p.m. on Wednesday, a light aircraft overturned at Heritage Field Airport just outside Pottstown in Montgomery County. The pilot sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was briefly stuck inside the inverted plane. Emergency personnel arrived quickly and pulled the pilot to safety. No other injuries were reported, and investigators are examining the cause of the crash.
