PM Anwar allocates RM2.8 million for repairs at Kedah Islamic schools

Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Malaysia's Prime Minister and Finance Minister, confirmed an additional allocation of RM2.8 million for the repair of basic infrastructure at fourteen Islamic education institutions across Kedah. In the same social-media announcement, he disclosed a further RM250,000 to support programmes focused on hadith. The two allocations will be coordinated by the Kedah Implementation Coordination Unit within the Prime Minister's Department.

Anwar emphasized that the investments are intended to provide a safer, more comfortable learning environment and to reinforce the role of Islamic education in society. He expressed hope that the measures will benefit students and foster a culture of knowledge. The funding is part of the MADANI Government's broader effort to uphold Islamic values in education.
