The arrest followed an investigation that tied him to a shooting outside the same store in Anavissos, where he allegedly attempted to kill another individual and two pedestrians were injured. The raid was overseen by a prosecutorial official and supported by EKAM.
Police recovered a handgun with a magazine, a knife, cannabis, several mobile devices, SIM cards and cash, and charged the suspect with illegal firearm possession, drug offenses and prior violations related to organized crime. The case also involves the convicted Alket Rizai, who is said to have participated in the September incident. The detainee was transferred to the appropriate prosecutorial authorities for processing.
