Police called to Florida youth soccer field over dispute about a prodigy toddler

Winter Park police were summoned to a 5U soccer game after league officials complained that a 3-year-old’s parents were disruptive.

At a Saturday morning 5U soccer game in Winter Park, Florida, an i9 Sports league representative called police to address a conflict with a family of a 3-year-old player. The official claimed a parent was “really, really disruptive,” following and insulting him in front of other attendees. Officers were instructed to inform the family that the league would no longer allow the child to play and would refund the fees.

Police characterized the issue as a civil dispute and noted the family departed after the match concluded. The parents contend the removal was motivated by their son’s advanced skill level, citing video evidence of his precise ball control and a claim of 21 goals in two games. Attempts to contact i9 Sports for comment were unsuccessful.
