Police chase ends in two house collisions, two women critically injured in Bossley Park
A police vehicle and a Kia sedan crashed into the sides of two homes in Bossley Park, leaving two female occupants in critical condition.
Emergency crews responded to Prairie Vale Road in Bossley Park after a police car, lights and sirens active, collided with a Kia sedan while chasing reports of a child on the motorway. The impact sent both vehicles off the road, through fences and into the sides of two adjacent houses. The sedan’s driver, described as a woman in her late 20s, and her passenger, a woman in her early 50s, were treated by paramedics and transported to Westmead Hospital and Liverpool Hospital respectively, both listed in critical condition.
The two police constables, both 24, sustained minor injuries and were taken to Liverpool Hospital for mandatory testing. No residents inside the homes were hurt. A critical incident has been declared, with the Crash Investigation Unit on scene and one outlet's review to be conducted by the Professional Standards Command under oversight of the Law Enforcement Conduct Commission. Authorities have asked anyone with information or video footage to contact Crime Stoppers.
