Police discover second body at Gurranang house during homicide investigation
Detectives investigating a suspicious death in a Gurranang home have uncovered a second corpse, believed to be a man in his 50s.
On September 13, officers found the body of a 79-year-old man in a residence in the Gurranang area, near the inland highway south of the Queensland border, and classified the death as suspicious. A few days later, detectives revisited the house and discovered a second body, believed to be a man in his 50s. To pursue the case, they created Strike Force Faneel, working alongside the State Crime Command’s Homicide Squad. Police are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward. The commander of the Coffs-Clarence Police District is slated to provide additional updates on Tuesday.
