Police intervene after 13-year-old allegedly prepared weapons for school attack
Police entered a 13-year-old's home early Monday, seizing a knife and a club after receiving a tip about a possible school attack.
A tip about a potential school assault by a 13-year-old was forwarded to police in Wąbrzeźna via the International Police Cooperation Office. Early Monday, officers entered the boy's home at approximately 6:00 a.m., securing a knife in his school backpack and locating a club inside the apartment. The youngster is now being questioned alongside a parent, while specialists from the Digital Crime Unit in Bydgoszcz have joined the investigation.
Police have also alerted additional services, though details of the intended attack remain unclear. The teen reportedly had previously killed several cats and indicated where he buried them, but no prior disciplinary issues were noted.
