Police Investigate Unconfirmed Gunfire in Oslo’s Kværnerbyen Area
Oslo police received a report of possible gunfire in Kværnerbyen around 00:25, but no one was injured and the area is now safe.
The Oslo Police District was alerted at 00:25 about a suspected shooting in the Kværnerbyen neighbourhood. Operation leader Christer Martinsen said searches have so far found no bullet holes or other evidence, and no injuries were reported. Police have not explained why they believe shots were fired and cannot confirm any link to a recent shooting at a private home in Sand, Ullensaker.
