Police launch hunt for man caught on camera groping shopper at Santa Ana Target
Authorities are searching for a suspect seen on surveillance footage pressing his hand against a woman's buttocks inside a Target store in Santa Ana.
Surveillance video from a Target store on 17th Street in Santa Ana recorded a woman, known only as Monica, pushing her young daughter in a shopping cart when a man approached her, saying there was a bug on her back. Instead of removing anything, the man grabbed her buttocks and continued to touch her inappropriately while she tried to process the assault. The footage shows the suspect trailing the victim through an aisle before the contact.
Police have released a description: roughly 6-foot-1, about 200 pounds, black hair, black goatee, wearing a black shirt with a car logo and black shorts. The Santa Ana Police Department is now conducting a manhunt for the alleged perpetrator.
