Police officer wounded in Dong attack; two foreign suspects taken into custody
A police officer was injured after being assaulted by two foreign men in Kampung Pamah Kulat, Dong, and the suspects have been arrested.
The incident occurred after villagers reported noise disturbances caused by the foreigners. Dong assemblyman Fadzli Mohamad Kamal said the officer responded to the complaints and was attacked. Both attackers, identified as foreigners, were subsequently detained by police. Acting Pahang police chief Datuk Azry Akmar Ayob and Raub police chief Superintendent Mohd Shahril Abdul Rahman were approached for comment.
