Police probe possible gun involvement in West Lothian man's death

A 35-year-old man was found dead on Harestanes Road in Armadale, with investigators considering a firearm may have been used.

Detectives responded to a report of an injured man at a property on Harestanes Road, Armadale, shortly before midday on Saturday. The victim, aged 35, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are exploring the possibility that a gun was involved and are also looking into a nearby car fire in Netherhouses that could be linked to the incident. Detective superintendent Michelle Findlay said officers remain in the area and urged anyone with information to contact them. The deceased's family has been notified.
