Police raid in Berngau leaves two officials dead and suspect wounded
In the early hours, police in the town of Berngau conducted a raid after a routine firearms check turned violent. Two Landratsamt Neumarkt employees, a 45-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman, were found dead at the scene. A 60-year-old suspect was subdued, sustained a light leg wound and was taken to hospital.
