Police seal off Liveprool city centre after early-morning disturbance
Police officers established a large cordon around Tithebarn Street and Tempest Hey in Liveprool after residents reported screaming around 5:30 am.
Around 5:30 am, residents of Liveprool heard loud screams and saw emergency vehicles converging on the city centre. Merseyside Police responded by cordoning off Tithebarn Street and Tempest Hey, positioning several patrol cars nearby. Blake Chen, a 30-year-old resident of the Silkhouse Court tower block on Tithebarn Street, said she was awakened by the noise before the police barrier was set up.
