Police seize meth lab equipment in Valašsko, five suspects face up to ten years

Police carried out coordinated raids across Valašské Meziříčí, Rožnov pod Radhoštěm and surrounding municipalities, conducting multiple residential and premises inspections. One search took place in a chemically contaminated environment, forcing officers to wear protective overalls and masks throughout. The seizure list comprised extensive meth-production apparatus, the chemicals used to synthesize the drug, finished meth ready for distribution, cash amounting to tens of thousands of crowns, as well as cars and motorcycles linked to the operation.

Following the raids, criminal investigators opened prosecutions against five suspects. Three are charged with unlawful production and handling of narcotics and poisons, carrying a potential ten-year sentence; the remaining two face possible five-year terms. Police spokesperson Petr Jaroš provided these details.
