Polish voters split on possible joint PiS-Rozwój Plus list for 2027 election

SW Research polled 800 internet users aged 18 and over about the likelihood of Law and Justice (PiS) and Mateusz Morawiecki’s Rozwój Plus presenting a joint list in the 2027 Sejm election. The results indicate a near-even split between those who see a combined ticket as feasible and those who do not, with many respondents still undecided. The highest confidence in a joint run came from participants with monthly incomes of 5,001-7,000 zł and residents of cities of 200-499 thousand people, while the strongest belief that the parties will stay separate was among higher-income earners and residents of towns of 100-199 thousand people.

Earlier this month PiS leadership ordered members of affiliated associations to cease political activity, prompting Jacek Sasin to dissolve his own group, Po pierwsze Polska, while Morawiecki insisted Rozwój Plus will continue. The party’s disciplinary board later expelled dozens of PiS MPs and two senators linked to Rozwój Plus, and Jarosław Kaczyński announced further resignations within the party.
