A new one outlet/JL Partners poll of more than 1,000 registered American voters, carried out online from Aug. 28 to Aug. 31, shows that 42% believe additional clarification is required regarding Natalie Harp’s function as an executive and special assistant to Donald Trump. Only 22% say they have enough information, while 36% remain uncertain. The desire for answers splits along partisan lines: 58% of Democrats, 29% of Republicans, and 37% of independents want further details.
The survey reports a 3.1% margin of error. Harp, described in letters as Trump’s “Guardian and Protector,” has been noted for her constant presence with the president. Senator Ted Cruz cited an incident where Harp allegedly delivered a printed copy of an Elon Musk tweet about the Epstein files to Trump, prompting a strong reaction. The White House has not commented on the poll.
