PPF Real Estate to acquire multiple Kaprain development firms near Prague's O2 arena
PPF Real Estate is purchasing several Kaprain-owned companies that hold real-estate projects around Prague's O2 arena, with the deal under review by the competition authority.
PPF Real Estate, part of the PPF group led by Renáta Kellnerová, is set to acquire a collection of Kaprain companies that own upcoming real-estate projects near the O2 arena in Prague. The sellers, linked to entrepreneur Karel Pražák, include Harfa BC C, Harfa District, Českomoravská Invest, Kovářská 939, C & R Office Center One and Mototech Real. The competition authority has opened a simplified review of the merger and expects to issue a ruling within 20 days.
The transaction primarily concerns the rental market for non-residential spaces—especially offices and warehouses—and the preparation of land for future development. Most of the transferred firms hold parcels in Prague 9 surrounding the arena, an area already owned by PPF, while Mototech Real possesses a 16-hectare complex in the Stodůlky district.

The deal expands PPF's control of key development land near a major Prague venue, potentially reshaping the local office and warehouse market.
