President Marcos says he has not received bill to delay barangay and SK elections
President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. confirmed he has not yet gotten the proposed legislation to postpone the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections slated for November 2.
In Manila, President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. told reporters he still lacks the draft bill that would push back the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan polls scheduled for November 2. The Commission on Elections warned that if no law is enacted by the end of September, the filing period for candidacies from Sept. 28 to Oct. 5 will proceed as planned. Marcos said he cannot decide on signing the measure until he receives it.
