President Nicușor Dan urges honest ties with Romanian diaspora at Chicago summit

At the Romanian Community Summit held in Chicago, President Nicușor Dan delivered a message to the Romanian diaspora emphasizing the need for frank recognition of the country's past shortcomings. He noted that many who left Romania perceive a lingering bitterness from broken promises, often feeling undervalued in their work and skills. He praised the diaspora’s achievements in building careers, families, and community initiatives, and called on them to channel their expertise into Romania’s development projects.
