Presidential annex unveils instant photo kiosk featuring Lee Jae Myung

An instant four-photo kiosk opened at the Sarangchae pavilion of the presidential complex, allowing visitors to pose with images of President Lee Jae Myung, First Lady Kim Hea Kyung, or Korean cultural icons.

The presidential office launched a new instant-photo booth on Wednesday at Sarangchae, the public annex of Cheong Wa Dae in Seoul. The kiosk offers 32 frame options showing President Lee Jae Myung, First Lady Kim Hea Kyung, or selected heritage symbols. Visitors can capture a four-image strip and download the pictures directly to their smartphones. The opening marks the first anniversary of Lee’s presidency and is meant to encourage public interaction with the leadership and national culture.

Why it matters

It shows the administration’s effort to engage citizens directly and promote Korean cultural heritage through modern technology.
