Presley Gerber, Cindy Crawford's son, dies at age 27 in rehab facility

Presley Gerber, 27, died on Sunday while receiving treatment at a rehabilitation center, the Los Angeles County Medical one outlet reported, without releasing a cause of death. His sister Kaia Gerber, 24, had earlier opened up about Presley's battle with substance abuse and mental-health issues, saying it had deeply affected the family dynamic. Their mother, Cindy Crawford, 60, and father, Rande Gerber, 64, have requested privacy as they mourn.

In a candid video posted in December, Presley disclosed his use of buprenorphine, benzodiazepines, Xanax and Valium to manage night terrors, panic attacks and opioid dependence. He also hinted at recent personal losses that contributed to his condition. The family previously shared moments of gratitude, including a paddle-boarding photo Presley posted of his father in May.
