At Government House in Charlottetown, Premier Rob Lantz conducted a cabinet reshuffle, formally installing the revised executive council. The ceremony took place at the lieutenant-governor's residence, where the Progressive Conservative government pledged continuity across most ministries. Existing ministers—Thompson, Darlene Compton, Ernie Hudson, Cory Deagle, Jill Burridge, Barb Ramsay, Jenn Redmond, Zack Bell, Robin Croucher, and Kent Dollar—kept their current responsibilities.
The only new appointment is Hilton MacLennan, who will serve as minister of agriculture. The premier indicated that further changes may follow.
