Princess of Wales visits Royal Marsden to review cancer-care fundraising impact
Kate, Princess of Wales, made a private tour of the Royal Marsden hospital where she was treated for cancer, meeting staff and patients.
The Princess of Wales returned to the Royal Marsden, the specialist cancer centre that treated her, for a private inspection. She was briefed by senior staff on progress toward a new Centre for Holistic Wellbeing and Recovery, funded by proceeds from her recent Three Peaks Challenge. The challenge, completed in June, aimed to raise awareness and money for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.
During the visit, Kate listened to updates on research into complementary therapies alongside clinical treatment and toured the future building location. She also interacted with current patients, hearing how a whole-person approach supports recovery. In 2025, she and William became joint patrons of the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust following her remission announcement.
