Pro-Palestine activists vandalise homes of UK defence executives linked to Israel

Masked activists identified as The List carried out night-time vandalism at several UK residences and cars belonging to executives of defence firms they say support Israel.

In a series of nocturnal raids across the United Kingdom, a group calling itself The List targeted the private residences and vehicles of executives linked to defence contractors they accuse of aiding Israel’s military. Photographs released by the group show hooded vandals slashing tyres, splashing red paint on cars and houses, and spray-painting messages like “baby killers” on garages. The attacks were directed at figures associated with firms such as Israeli weapons maker Elbit, US-based Leonardo, and Touche Ltd, which exported arms to Israel.

Counter-terrorism police are working with local forces, including Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary, to investigate the criminal damage. Lord Walney described the campaign as a “disturbing and inexcusable” escalation of the previously proscribed Palestine Action movement, urging swift government action. Leonardo said it is supporting the affected employee and cooperating with the police.

Why it matters

The incidents raise concerns about domestic security, protest tactics and the targeting of defence industry personnel linked to the Israel-Palestine conflict.
