Projected pension and benefit increases for Polish retirees outlined
New GUS data suggest that pensions and disability benefits could rise by several dozen to a few hundred złoty per month starting March 2027, pending final calculations.
The Central Statistical Office (GUS) has released a model projecting how pension and disability benefit adjustments might look from March 2027 onward. Using available data, the simulation predicts monthly increases that vary from a few dozen złoty for lower benefits to several hundred złoty for higher ones. For example, a pension of 2,051 zł could grow by about 98 zł, while a benefit of 6,220 zł might rise by roughly 296 zł.
Additional components such as the caregiving supplement and full orphan allowance are also expected to see modest lifts, and the war veteran disability supplement could receive the largest nominal boost. These numbers remain provisional, as the ultimate rates will depend on the complete set of 2026 inflation and wage statistics.
