Prosecutor Keith Flores Highlights Davao Property in Sara Duterte Impeachment Hearing

House prosecutor Keith Flores presented a 379-square-meter Davao City property registered to Vice President Sara Duterte’s husband during the impeachment trial.

After a brief procedural pause, the Senate impeachment court continued the trial over Vice President Sara Duterte’s alleged unexplained wealth, hearing testimony from Davao City Register of Deeds IV Kathy Florence Baldonado and City of Samal Deputy Register of Deeds III Marco Pineda. House prosecutor and Bukidnon 2nd District Representative Keith Flores presented the title of a 379-square-meter property in Barangay Matina, Davao City, listed under Duterte’s husband Manases Carpio.

The land was sold for P6 million in July 2024 and shows an P8 million mortgage taken with Philippine Savings Bank in August 2024. Flores moved to introduce Duterte’s 2025-2026 Statement of Assets, Liabilities and Net Worth, but Presiding Officer Francis Escudero reminded that SALNs do not obligate officials to state the exact size of properties. The hearing underscores the ongoing scrutiny of the vice president’s financial disclosures amid the impeachment process.
