PSOE official brands Feijóo a "viral threat" behind Ceuta crisis and voting law dispute

At a political gathering of the PSOE in Alicante, organisation secretary Rebeca Torró intensified attacks on the Popular Party leader Alberto Núñez Feijóo, calling him a "mal virus" that has infected Spanish politics. She claimed Feijóo is behind Ceuta mayor Juan Jesús Vivas' refusal to relocate minors to the mainland, alleging the mayor follows Feijóo’s orders to sabotage government initiatives. Torró also criticised the PP for opposing the grandchildren voting law, accusing the party of casting doubt on the electoral system and aligning with Vox’s far-right agenda.

She suggested the PP’s strategy harms ordinary citizens while serving its own interests. The remarks echo Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez’s earlier criticism of Vivas and underscore a growing partisan clash over both the Ceuta humanitarian situation and broader electoral reforms.
