During a review of Donald Trump's 9/11 memorial remarks, psychologist John Garrison identified several alarming neurological cues, including slurred words, difficulty forming sentences and involuntary arm and torso movements. He suggested the observed behavior could stem from a range of conditions such as stroke, dementia, Parkinson's disease or focal seizures. Garrison emphasized that the speech occurred at 10:35 a.m., a time when the president would normally be at his sharpest, heightening the significance of the anomalies.
He linked these observations to a broader pattern of perceived decline throughout Trump's second term, noting frequent hospital visits and public polling that questions his mental acuity. While multiple medical explanations exist, Garrison concluded the progression of these symptoms is worrisome and appears to be worsening.
