PwC US chief Paul Griggs relies on custom AI assistant for daily work

PwC senior partner and US CEO Paul Griggs says he uses a self-built AI tool, dubbed “PG’s Whisperer,” throughout his workday.

Paul Griggs, senior partner and US chief executive of PwC, disclosed that he runs a custom AI assistant named PG’s Whisperer for most of his daily tasks. Prompted by internal nudges to explore AI, he merged two existing models into a single solution after collaborating with a colleague from the firm’s intelligent-enterprise practice. Griggs now maintains two chat windows on his phone and computer, using the assistant to quickly review extensive reports, compare information, and stress-test strategic concepts.

He also feeds draft speeches and other material to the tool for feedback on clarity and impact. The assistant has been operational for roughly a year, and Griggs noted that its token usage is likely substantial, though he does not track exact figures.
