Quality Control co-founder Pierre “P” Thomas hospitalized after heart attack

Pierre “P” Thomas, co-founder of Quality Control, is recovering in a Las Vegas ICU after suffering a heart attack, a representative confirmed.

Pierre “P” Thomas, who co-founded the Atlanta-based label Quality Control with Kevin Lee, is currently hospitalized in Las Vegas after experiencing a heart attack. A representative issued a statement confirming his condition, emphasizing that he is alive, receiving care in the ICU, and requesting privacy for him and his family. Thomas has been a pivotal figure in hip-hop, helping launch acts like Migos, Lil Baby, Lil Yachty and City Girls, and overseeing the label’s expansion into sports management.

In 2023, Quality Control was acquired by Hybe America in a deal valued at about $300 million in cash and stock. The company’s recent history includes Scooter Braun’s tenure as CEO until July 2025. Medical staff continue to monitor Thomas closely as he recovers.
