QueryStory launches AI-driven data-storytelling platform with $6 million seed funding
Former Google engineer Shapor Naghibzadeh unveiled QueryStory, a new AI tool for turning complex enterprise data into verifiable narratives, after raising a $6 million seed round.
Drawing on his background in cybersecurity and data analysis at Google, Shapor Naghibzadeh co-founded QueryStory to provide enterprises with an AI-powered system that converts raw data into coherent, evidence-backed stories. Alongside CTO Stanley Yang, formerly of EvolutionIQ, and CPO David Glusic, an Accenture veteran, the company emerged from stealth this week. A $6 million seed round led by Brightmind Ventures and New York Life Ventures placed the firm’s valuation at $60 million.
QueryStory targets large organizations that manage proprietary data silos, offering tools such as auto-generated SQL queries, flagging for human review, and confidence scores to bridge the trust gap in AI outputs. Early adopters, including investors, report faster turnaround on complex analyses that previously took weeks. The platform is model-agnostic but currently relies on leading large-language-model providers, emphasizing reliability over token-based consumption models.
Why it matters
It offers businesses a way to trust AI-generated insights from complex data, potentially reshaping enterprise decision-making.
