Quezon agricultural officials boost cooperation to tackle El Niño impacts
Agriculture leaders in Quezon province met in Lucena to improve coordination for the El Niño season, aiming to support farmers and fisherfolk.
The Quezon chapter of the League of Municipal Agriculture Officers, Municipal and City Agriculturists of the Philippines, Inc. (LEMMCAP) convened on Oct. 1-2 in Lucena City. Participants discussed joint projects and interventions to lessen El Niño’s effects on local agriculture. The meeting was organized by the provincial government’s Public Information Office to ensure continued assistance for vulnerable farming and fishing communities.
