Raghav Chadda accuses AAP of targeting him over disputed voter roll entry
Raghav Chadda says the Aam Aadmi Party has repeatedly harassed him since leaving the party, citing a contested addition of his name to Delhi's electoral roll.
Raghav Chadda asserted that the Aam Aadmi Party has continuously targeted him since he quit the organization, describing the party's focus on his name as a personal vendetta. He accused AAP of fabricating allegations about his voter registration and then seeking evidence to support them. The Delhi Chief Electoral Officer clarified that any addition, deletion or modification of names on the electoral roll must be processed via Forms 6, 7 or 8, in line with the Representation of the People Act and related rules.
AAP's national media in-charge, Anurag Dhanda, rejected the official explanation, labeling the inclusion of Chadda's name as a "backdoor" maneuver that bypassed proper procedures. Dhanda called for the Election Commission to reveal how Chadda's name appeared as the 747th entry after the August 31 draft roll listed 746 voters, questioning the transparency of the SIR process.
