Raiders pledge $25 million to fund Nevada's inaugural stand-alone children's hospital
The Las Vegas Raiders and Intermountain Health announced a $25 million donation to build Nevada’s first independent pediatric hospital, slated to open around 2030.
In a historic philanthropic move, the Raiders and Intermountain Health revealed a $25 million gift to create Nevada’s first stand-alone children’s hospital, expected to welcome patients by 2030. Owners Mark Davis, Egon Durban and Michael Meldman each pledged $5 million, while the team contributed an additional $10 million. The 828,000-square-foot building will sit on a 33-acre site at the UNLV Harry Reid Research and Technology Park and include 180 patient beds, advanced emergency services, and a full outpatient suite.
Intermountain Health Nevada Children’s Hospital will honor the donation by naming its rehab gym and a lobby-adjacent bistro after the Raiders. Team officials emphasized that the project aims to strengthen the community and give every child a chance to thrive.
