Rajasthan police nab three suspects linked to Tiger Shroff shooting on train
Rajasthan police captured three alleged shooters and an accomplice on a train in Kota after the Mumbai attack on Tiger Shroff’s convoy.
Rajasthan authorities detained three primary suspects in connection with the gunfire aimed at a vehicle linked to Bollywood star Tiger Shroff in Mumbai’s Juhu district. The suspects—18-year-old Rehan alias Sukka from Sonipat, 22-year-old Hritik Kurmi alias Roshan from Begusarai, and a 17-year-old minor from Haryana—were intercepted on the Pune-Jaipur Express in Kota after a tip from Mumbai Police. The anti-gangster task force and Kota City Police say Rehan and Hritik were hired shooters, while the minor allegedly helped them flee.
The attack left Shroff unharmed but wounded his driver and another passenger. An unverified social-media one outlet claimed the shooting was tied to a US-based associate of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi. The three will be handed over to Mumbai Police for further questioning. Maharashtra’s chief minister and deputy chief minister have pledged a thorough response.
Why it matters
The arrests could expose a gang-linked plot against a high-profile celebrity and highlight cross-state police cooperation.
