Datuk Siti Zailah Mohd Yusoff, the Rantau Panjang member of parliament, and her 26-year-old daughter were on a trip from Gua Musang in Kelantan to Kuala Lumpur when their sport-utility vehicle lost traction on the Lingkaran Tengah Utama expressway around 6 pm. The vehicle skidded and collided with a road barrier, injuring the MP’s chest and abdomen; the daughter, who was behind the wheel, was not harmed.
