Miami Beach police arrested rapper William Leonard Roberts early Thursday on domestic-violence allegations, including a felony battery-by-strangulation and a misdemeanor battery charge. He was processed at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center at 6:10 a.m., with bond set at $4,000 for the felony and $1,000 for the misdemeanor, totaling $5,000. Attorney Bradley Horenstein proclaimed the accusations false and urged restraint while the case proceeds.
Judge Mindy Glazer reviewed the arrest report, found probable cause, and imposed a stay-away order preventing any contact with the alleged victim, as well as a prohibition on firearms and illegal drugs.
