RayNeo unveils two contrasting AR glasses lines for everyday and immersive use
RayNeo introduced the minimalist iO Smart Glasses and the larger GT-series AR glasses, each aimed at different user needs.
RayNeo launched two distinct AR eyewear collections: the iO Smart Glasses and the GT-series. The iO model weighs 33 grams, looks like ordinary spectacles, and offers a small green monochrome display, a quad-microphone array, bone-conduction sensor and AI-driven translation of 55 languages with about a second of latency. Its battery is claimed to last two days of typical use.
The GT line, weighing 68-78 grams, sports thick, oversized frames and can project virtual screens up to 231 inches (GT) or 307 inches (GT Max) with wide fields of view, quad-speaker setups tuned by Bang & Olufsen, and 3DoF AR chips for anchoring content in space. The GT models target AR gaming and high-quality media consumption, and can display Dolby Vision HDR when paired with the RayNeo Pocket TV Pro streaming device. Pricing has not yet been disclosed, and both product families will be showcased at IFA before hitting stores on September 4.
Why it matters
The launch shows how AR hardware is diversifying to serve both subtle daily assistance and immersive entertainment.
