Razer unveils the ultra-compact Prio controller for mobile gamers
Razer has launched the Prio, a fold-up gamepad that connects via USB-C and works on iOS and Android devices.
Razer announced the Prio, a miniature controller that collapses for easy storage and links to smartphones via a USB-C connector. The device provides a complete console-style layout, featuring a four-directional D-pad, standard face buttons, shoulder bumpers, triggers, and analog thumbsticks engineered to reduce drift during movement. Because it draws power directly from the phone, no additional charging is required.
The controller fits most slim to medium-sized cases and supports phones up to seven inches, including flagship models like the iPhone 17 Pro Max and Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra. Prio integrates with native mobile games and major cloud-gaming platforms such as Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam Link, PS Remote Play, and Razer's PC Remote Play service. It is available now for $100 and is positioned as the inaugural product in a new series of ultra-portable gaming controllers.
Why it matters
The Prio gives mobile gamers a portable, full-featured controller, expanding how people can play on smartphones.
