Real Salt Lake's winless run stretches to ten as Houston Dynamo clinch 2-1 victory

In a tightly contested MLS match, Houston Dynamo defeated Real Salt Lake 2-1, extending the latter's winless streak to ten games. Guilherme opened the scoring before Saba Lobjanidze levelled in the 76th minute with a chip after a precise pass from academy product Lineker Rodrigues. Late pressure from Houston saw Mateusz Bogusz strike the winner in the 87th minute.

Real Salt Lake coach Pablo Mastroeni, missing 13 players, handed his first starts to recent signing Jason Shokalook and Colin Guske. Mastroeni praised the midfield duo of Guske and Noel and lauded JaunMa's performance. The team now heads back home to face New York City FC at America First Field on September 12.
