Suarez, a 35-year-old who signed a one-year deal, is posting a.208/.295/.410 line with 19 homers and a high strikeout rate. Friedl has recorded a.158/.242/.234 slash line in 253 plate appearances while providing above-average outfield defense. Their lack of interest from other teams reflects their underwhelming offensive production this season.
